About Rho Achievement Leadership Academy

Geared toward Black male students, the mission of the Alpha Leadership Academy is to develop leaders and promote academic excellence while enhancing civic engagement and social responsibility among its participants. Taking place on one Saturday per month from September to May, participants will engage in activities designed to:

• Improve their self-esteem;

• Improve their academic performance;

• Encourage middle school completion, high school completion and pursuit of education beyond the high school level;

• Increase their social awareness and problem solving skills in order to enable them to make more responsible decisions.
